Toon Quanten (born in 1982) is a musician and performer, architect and director, (wood) builder and technician. With this unique combination of skills, he has the ability to touch people with music, engage them in his performances, ignite their imaginations with his staging, and provide them with an experiential, immersive, and collaborative journey through his technical craftsmanship.

Professionally, Toon has played clarinet/bass clarinet with various renowned ensembles, including De Munt, SPECTRA, HERMESensemble, and Terra Nova Collective. In addition to numerous collaborations, he has created solo performances such as Toon beweegt (2015), Toon op Toon (2018), and Not a walk in the park (2019).

Apart from his artistic pursuits, Toon has a passion for furniture design and woodworking. Currently, Toon is a part of the I SOLISTI MakerSpace, a multi-year maker's journey within the I SOLISTI ACADEMY.
